Non-residential, outreach services are provided to homeless pregnant\/parenting females.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Food and Nutrition:<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">With Fiends believes that for runaway and homeless youth to have the opportunity to achieve personal, academic, developmental, and social success, we need to encourage a lifetime of healthy eating for each youth by providing free meals to youth that are nutritious, appealing, and served by caring professionals in a pleasant environment.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Community Outreach Program: <\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">OnTRACC<\/span>: Homeless Education Program;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">National Safe Place<\/span>: Educate youth about the dangers of running away, provide safe havens, and resources;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">With Friends Teen Board<\/span>: High school boys and girls who are interested in community outreach and service;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Student Internship Program<\/span>: Opportunity offered to undergraduates or students, to receive <span class=\"st\">on-the-job training<\/span>;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Volunteer Program<\/span>: Partnership with various other community volunteer organizations;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Public Relations Program<\/span>: Community events; newsletters; presentations to civic groups, churches, and schools; television and newspaper articles; and an annual open house.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Emergency Shelter Program: Addresses the immediate needs of homeless and at-risk youth ages 10-17 by providing residential shelter care, 24\/7 supervision, counseling, case management, education, recreational and spiritual enrichment, aftercare and follow-up services.
